Risk identification has always been one of the weakest aspects in the risk management process. It's very hard to try and think or predict something that hasn't happened yet and may not even happen. As a result, most risk identification sessions rely on brainstorming, not realizing its many pitfalls. There are currently over 30 known risk identification techniques being used to identify risks. We will not learn them all...
In our risk identification session we will learn two wonderful risk identification techniques: Force Field Analysis (FFA) and Constraints and Assumptions Analysis (CAA). These two techniques will help you identify different risks in a more structured way that relies on deeper root cause thinking.
