PMI-SD VP of Communications posted a new activity comment: %sSunny, Thank-you for this string of Comments – ALL VERY VALUABLE INFORMATION!! My recommendations (especially for those who know me) is to share your time on a team and volunteer, it is amazing how fast a group can bond, work together toward a common goal and be able lean on each other in times of crisis. Yes, there I agree there is a PDU benefit in this equation but it is my opinion that relationships and real-time job experience like planning, communicating and leadership far outweigh the PDU Factor. Win-Win for everyone!!

It is my observation that, in general, professional development comes at a cost of approximately $100 per PDU. A significant proportion of the courses offered through various training organizations cost up to $700 per day (7 or 8 PDUs).
