Course Description: This 3-day, 24-hour course provides a rapid review, intense quiz, and targeted feedback forum that will strengthen your existing project management knowledge and offer effective preparation strategies for your upcoming PMBOK 6th Edition PMP exam. This course is designed for those who have already received their 35 hours of CAPM/PMP training, but need additional guidance, preparation, and confidence regarding the PMBOK 6th Edition exam. Our seasoned instructors provide real-world experience and offer helpful guidance for a post-training study plan and a winning certification exam strategy.

As the primary vehicle for the creation of business value and change, projects have become significantly important to organizations hoping to compete, profit and grow in the business space. The harsh realities of organizational structure, culture, and politics, however, create obstacles that can, and regularly do, conflict with the objectives and success of a project. Project Management provides the framework, methodologies, and tools necessary to mitigate these influences through the application of integration, planning, communication, team building, change management, risk management, and other necessary activities throughout the project life-cycle. Project Management is central to the successful completion of projects and the strategic advantages that result.

Ben De La Riva, MBA, PMP, CSM is a Senior Consultant and Instructor for Titanium Cobra Solutions. He brings over 30 years of leadership, organizational performance, and project management experience in the aerospace, management consulting and non-profit industries. After his retirement from the Marine Corps, he held challenging professional roles including Organizational Performance Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, Logistics Program Manager supporting the production and sustainment of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, and as the Executive Director of Project Mexico, a non-profit that builds homes for the poor, and provides a home for orphaned teenage boys in northern Mexico. Ben holds a Master of Business Administration, emphasis in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management from National University and maintains certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and as s Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
