The San Diego Chapter holds regularly scheduled events. These events offer the opportunity for members and guests to learn about the latest in project management, share and exchange information, network, find job opportunities, and enjoy some refreshments.

PMI San Diego Chapter Day at Petco Park

The PMI San Diego Chapter is honored to host a Day-at-the-Park event at Petco Park, with the San Diego Padres taking on the visiting San Francisco Giants. This event is open to everyone, including current and new/prospective chapter members, their friends/family, and members of the general public.

A unique behind-the-scenes tour/briefing with Padres project managers will be offered before the game that highlights the risk management and contingency plans required to host such an event. You will be treated to an all-you-can-eat buffet of delicious American fare on the Western Metal Rooftop (with private, reserved seating in Upper Box Pavilion Section 326), which provides one of the greatest views of downtown and overlooks the entire ball field. 

Also, the Chapter is holding a contest based on the total number of individual tickets sold. Each individual ticket purchased entitles the buyer to one raffle entry for two (2) Pre-game On-Field Passes. This pass will allow the recipient to go on the field and get an up-close experience around the players and staff prior to the start of the game (player meet-and-greet, get autographs, and watch batting practice from the field). One winner will be randomly drawn on July 17 and will be contacted via phone/email. (Note: Winner will be notified of rules/requirements for participation.)

The PMI San Diego Chapter invites you to come out with your team gear and enjoy a day at the park with fellow project management professionals from San Diego.

$92 Value DISCOUNTED to $75/ticket (open to current/past chapter members, potential members, friends, and family members). Children under 36” tall are free with paid adult.

Two options for ticket delivery:

  1. Mailed to your address if requested by August 10
  2. Pick up ticket in-person at Will Call at Petco Park on/before game day

Rules of the Park will be provided to all attendees as part of email confirmation from Chapter mid-August
