Abstract: 2019 holds a variety of opportunities for Project Managers. Let’s take a look at what to expect in the upcoming year.

Evan Donaldson is the CEO of Talentry, LLC, running the practice based out of San Diego, CA. Talentry solves clients’ technical problems by focusing in four areas: 1. Professional Technology Services 2. Software, Web, Mobile App Development Services 3. Technical Staff Augmentation Services 4. Empowering Managers (Training and Consulting).

Evan has worked in the technology services, training, placement and project field for the past two decades, primarily focusing on San Diego and Southern California. Evan’s team has led development and web projects, performed assessments and infrastructure architecture, and helped companies find critical technical candidates to meet their urgent needs, who range from senior level individual contributors through leaders at all levels - including C-level executives. Evan contributes to many employment and technology seminars, roundtable discussions, and articles (including the UT, PMI, itSMF, IIBA, HDI, and others), and helps professionals focus on what is truly important to maximize their career success. He is a subject matter expert on the IT job market, candidate sourcing and selection, interview preparation, and optimizing customized recruitment programs and strategies. Evan is widely recognized for his classes and white papers on these subjects, and is a regular contributor on LinkedIn.

Evan possesses a B.A. in Biology the University of San Diego, a Teaching Credential from the State of California, and has completed the coursework for a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology at San Diego State University. He also serves as a V.P. of Programs for the HDI San Diego Chapter, and as a board member of the San Diego Chapter of the USD Alumni Association. Prior to his impactful career in the employment field, Evan was an award-winning teacher at prestigious Francis Parker Upper School, teaching Science and Math, as well as coaching Track. When Evan is not mentoring, coaching, training or tutoring clients, candidates, and others to help them improve themselves, Evan enjoys deep sea fishing, surfing, hiking and camping.
