PMP Exam Prep Training – Project Road

Course format: Twelve modules, each consisting of lecture and slides, followed by practice questions, associated discussion and select exercises.

We cover all ten knowledge areas, including rigorous deep dives into schedule network diagrams and earned value management. We also cover the background framework and PMI’s code of ethics and professional conduct.

Handouts include a copy of the PMBOK® Guide; the Crosswind study guide; and a binder of our very own ‘secret sauce’ diagrams, flashcards, and accountability weekly tracker.

The classroom course also includes free access to our e-Learning course, which provides course review and on-going support to help students get all the way across the finish line to exam success.

Exam success for each student depends on the study effort expended by the student. Speaking in averages, study effort needs to be a very consistent minimum of 8 hours per week of quality study time, for three months, following our classroom course.

Our instructor is mission-focused. When the PMP certification is critical for your business and you want to ensure a successful class, then Bill Baxter is the instructor you want. Project Road Training, LLC is the company you want to work with.

AGENDA: 8:30 AM Presentation

SPEAKER: Bill Baxter, PMP.

Registered Education Provider, R.E.P. #4338). Bill developed this course over eight years of deep practice, conducting PMP study group sessions and working closely with students to learn effective ways to present and explain foundational concepts. The lecture slides have a unique look and feel because they are built on a consistent graphic approach that Bill developed to provide visual context to the material.

Bill brings a subtle performance art to his class, in part through his passion for his craft as an instructor and his deep involvement in the creation of the course content, and in part because of his broad work experience, which allows him to bring valuable context to his class.

Bill has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University. He worked in the aerospace defense industry for nine years, doing stress and vibration analysis of flight-weight hardware. After business school, he worked in the IT industry: Product marketing at Anixter, Sales Engineering at MCI, Engineering Design as Telecommunications Practice Lead at OWP/P (now part of Cannon Design), and Data Center Strategic Planning at UBS AG. Project management was an overlay skill that Bill applied in many of his different roles.
