Presenter Bio:

Discovering the science behind personality profoundly changed Barbara’s leadership style

of the large, strategic, cross-functional teams that she led. Working for over 25 years as an IT project manager, Barbara discovered the value of understanding people at a deeper level to increase the effectiveness and productivity of her teams while reducing frustrations, misunderstandings, and unnecessary conflicts. Now, her company, Rocking Your Team, coaches’ teams using this love of Personality Science to create psychological safety within teams.


Barbara holds a BA and MBA in Business from SDSU and is certified in a wide range of personality tools. Besides working with business teams, Barbara also teaches Project Management through UCSD-Extension and has conducted numerous workshops at high schools and non-profit organizations. She passionately shares the benefits of applying the Science of personalities to teams and relationships.
