Abstract: Covid-19 lockdowns have changed the way we interview and search for jobs. Competition for positions is fierce, because many people are out of work, while few businesses are hiring. At the same time, rules about networking are drastically changing. In this facilitated discussion, Lory Battisti and Kevin Reilly will discuss the major job hunting skills all project managers should be aware of to successfully keep their existing PM positions, and to find and get hired for their next PM position.

Loredana Battisti is currently CAPM certified. She also holds a project management certificate from UCSD Extension. She is Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt as well as Scrum Master Certified. Currently, she is completing her Micro-master’s in Business Administration as well a Business Management Certificate through UCSD Extension. She is the VP of Communications for the PMI-SD Chapter. She is extremely passionate about project management and enjoys making new connections.

Kevin Reilly is a PMP, ACP, and CSP, and has been working in the Information Technology industry for over 15 years as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, Trainer, Coach, and Speaker, with experience in all phases of the SDLC. He is also an Agile Project Manager and Scrum Master who has helped many companies implement Agile best practices, execute Agile projects, and perform activities to scale Agile across the enterprise.
