Tickets must be purchased online through our website. Tickets will not be available at the door.

What time should I arrive?

The event takes place from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Your ticket includes full-day Zoo access; however, tickets must be picked up in person at the PMI San Diego check-in table. Additional information about ticket pick-up times and event check-in will be provided after ticket purchase.

Is parking free or paid?

Your ticket includes complimentary parking, a $16 value, at the San Diego Zoo parking lot. Instructions and a promo code will be provided after ticket purchase. Parking is managed by ACE Parking and is first-come, first-served. Follow the instructions from ACE Parking to register your vehicle and use the promo code to receive free parking.

Are children allowed at the 40th Anniversary Celebration?

The anniversary celebration is an adults-only event. However, attendees are welcome to enjoy the Zoo with their children during regular Zoo hours prior to the event. Zoo admission for children and family members not attending the anniversary celebration must be purchased directly through the San Diego Zoo.
